Nebraska Family
Monday, September 13th, 2010 by Russanne Erickson
I haven’t lived in my hometown for about 11 years. I miss my friends and family a lot, especially during those milestone moments like babies and weddings. Birthday’s ARE a Big Deal!
Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 by Jill Kimle
March is a big month in house. Sort of. My husband and I have birthdays March 1 and March 15, respectively. It was only about 5 years ago when our birthdays became not-such-a-big-deal to us, and I never thought that would happen. It’s not that either of us dreads the upcoming birthday–it’s just not as important as it used to be. I guess it’s something that happens as we get older and priorities shift, especially when you have a young family.

Blizzard brings new perspective on the Holidays
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 by Jill Kimle
Today, as I sit here starting my article, I am snowed in. I don’t mean just a few inches of snow blocking a door. We are dealing with an all out blizzard which happens to be…on Christmas Day! And, because we live in the country, we are seeing nothing but white outside the windows.
