Big, and Proud of It!

It’s been a little over a year ago that I became a Big Sister, and it’s been a wonderful adventure. I had heard a presentation about Big Brothers, Big Sisters at a League of Women Voters meeting, and that prompted me to check into whether a grandmotherly type could also be a Big Sister. I had always known about the organization and the good it does, but hadn’t considered becoming a Big myself.

Making a Difference In Hastings

I like the sense of community that I feel living here. I don’t have a lot of money to give to things that I am passionate it about, but I have time and energy, so I like to give that instead. I like Hastings because I feel like I can make a difference here.
