Grocery Deals (March 30 – April 5)

ThriftyThursStampAwww…the power of doubles! Its a couponers dream. I’m talking about stores that double the value of coupons. It can mean some incredible savings!

Take Kmart for example. The last time they had a double coupon event was last March. They are finally holding another event, beginning Sunday, April 4th. The great thing about this event is they will double coupons up to $4.00!!! For example, if you have a $2.00 off coupon, it doubles to $4.00 off. You can imagine the amount of very cheap, if not free items available.

Doubles

Last year I spent $6.08 on everything picture. That was a savings of $70.33. Not bad, huh?

It seems that Kmart is putting some new restrictions on their double events this time around. As far as I can tell, it will mean less deals and daily trips to Kmart. It will still be worth it, I think. The rules for this event are as follows:

  • Offer dates: 04/04-04/10
  • Manufacturer Coupons up to and including $2 value will be doubled
  • In-store Activation MUST BE tied to your Shop Your Way to Rewards card (go here for a card or sign up in the store)
  • Does not include Kmart Store Coupons
  • Does not include Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons
  • Limit 5 total coupons per customer per day
  • First 5 coupons provided by customer will be doubled

Don’t forget…Sunmart doubles all coupons up to $1.00 daily. For example, a $0.50 Q doubles to $1.00 off. Happy Doubling!
