There are many good reasons why we should support the local restaurants and businesses. It keeps and brings in more money to the local community, therefore, boosting our economy. If we bring in many more big companies, they will push more local small business owners out the door. More money in our economy means that our city leaders would hopefully use that to help provide more and better services and attractions for our residents and to attract new residents. I feel that Hastings economy is lacking a bit...has anyone been to the mall lately....? And all it takes is a little bit of hard work and initiative to get things rolling. I agree with TMB.
