David O. Russell knows how to properly use actors. He’s an excellent director, but mind you, he’s had a history of verbal and physical disputes with them. An audience should always know that when sitting down for a Russell film you know you’ll witness transcendent performances.

If you don’t have anything positive to contribute…
Monday, May 6th, 2013 by Joe Hamik

Our Education System
Friday, April 19th, 2013 by Joe Hamik
I recently read an article online detailing a teacher’s retirement letter to the school board. After 27 as a professional educator at Westhill High School in New York, Gerald Conti decided to retire stating that his profession “No longer exists.” He states in his letter that he believes that the legislature has “sold out” the [...]

Just a bit of wisdom…
Friday, March 22nd, 2013 by Joe Hamik
Now that I’ve graduated college and I am starting to make my own way in the world, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous or scared. Dreading Daylight Saving Time
Thursday, February 28th, 2013 by Cassie Ivy
When I was flipping through a magazine the other night, waiting for my 7-year-old to finish her dance class, I saw one of the things I dread the most during spring – the mention of Daylight Saving Time. Now for some, it may not be that big of a deal, but in our family when it seems there aren’t enough hours in the day most of the time, “losing” an hour is a bit harsh. Especially when your family is made up of more night owls than early birds.
