Salvaged Goods

I am a fan of salvaged goods. Back in college, we used to have a system of goods exchange. Unwanted items were left in the dormitory hall. Other dorm residents were free to snap up and repurpose the items in a new wardrobe or dorm room.

Recycling Made Simple

I am now the proud owner of a new recycling tote from Woodward’s Disposal Service. Our old tub was 18 gallons. This new baby is 96 gallons of recycling space and I intend to fill it up!

A 90-Yr Old Masterpiece

I love big old farmhouses, probably because I grew up in one. We live in the farmhouse my husband grew up in. It’s a great HUGE house, but one thing I’ve learned about older farmhouses–they skimped on the size of the kitchen and they skimped in the bathroom area.
