Summer in the City

Eggs to “Dye” For

Steer your cart not to “Bunny-land”, you know, the isle filled with more fake grass than the Astrodome, Cadbury Eggs by the million-dozen and the ever popular, Dudley’s Easter Egg Dyeing Kits complete with not-so-handy metal dipper, but rather….to the produce section.

SummerFun at the Hastings Museum

It’s a Chili Day

Last week, during what I foolishly thought was the last cold and snowy day of spring, I found myself making a big pot of chili. My cooking instincts don’t kick in all that often, but changes in weather bring out something pretty basic in me, and on those chilly and snowy days, chili just has to happen.
