Hasting Pub Tour Part 3

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011 by

If you haven’t been following my adventures thus far, it’s too late now. You’ll have to go back and read them all yourself. It’s too awesome to recap. For those who have been along for the ride this whole time, welcome back! I hope you all had a chance to go visit some of the bars I have been wandering through these last few months, and I was glad to see a few people out and about when I went on this last little tour. To jog your memory, I went to Rivals, The Second Street Slammer and Bullseye’s.

What do you remember about 1968? Your pale pink dress? Your favorite Beatles album? Your first kiss? Have you only read about 1968 from a book or watched a video of highlight footage on YouTube? Whatever your age, you’ll be able to experience 1968 this summer during the Hastings Museum’s Summer of Love: 1968 in America.

Time Flies, But Where Does It Go?

Friday, June 10th, 2011 by

How can it be we are already into the month of June??? I feel like I blinked and missed a few months. Without a doubt, I am not the only one wondering where April and May have gone. It must be something about the weather during those previous months that makes me feel like I have been cheated of a spring and rushed headlong into summer.
