Semester Tests

At Adams Central, December is typically the time to put semester tests on your mind. Whether you call it “Finals” or “Semester Tests”, it’s generally the same idea. All of the important content (or unimportant content depending on one’s attitude towards school) is put in one test, and you are expected by your teachers and parents to take this exam and pass.

A Stress Free Party

I have just survived what turned out to be a weekend-long birthday celebration for my daughter who turned 6. While planning the party, I started taking note of other options in Hastings for birthday parties and I discovered even more options in town than I thought. Future parties in Hastings for the Kimle kids just might be in order. After all, a stress-free mom is a happy mom!

Decisions, Decisions

A few months ago I wrote about the beginning of our house remodeling/addition project. Things are on track for the most part. We realized from the beginning that harvest would hit and we would still be in the middle of our mess. What we didn’t realize was the amount of decision making that goes into home projects. Well, we probably realized the amount. It is the time factor we are amazed at.

New Car Eases Loss of the Old Family Friend

No one but my family probably noticed, but we have a “new to us” 2007 Chrysler Town and Country minivan from Kershner’s Auto Korner. Its cranberry colored exterior is a lot different than what I am used to, but I love it.
