Coaching, it’s in my Blood

The definition of a coach in the Webster’s Dictionary is “one who instructs players in the fundamentals of a competitive sport and directs team strategy.” While I would agree with that 100%…coaching involves so much more.

Post-Season Comments

The 2011-2012 football season is over, and I can’t help but feel a little disappointed in our Husker football team. It was another average 9-4 season. I had Nebraska picked to win the B1G this year partly because of bias, but mostly due to the fact that I really thought Nebraska had a strong shot at being Big Ten champions. Such an insane thought that was.

Graham Gallery and Great Art – Are Synonymous

The annual Graham Gallery Christmas Show is a group of 28 artists, including several guest artists who do not exhibit here on a regular basis. The show is diverse and the quality high again, as always. Since this is the gifting time of year, what better reason to come downtown and see if a creative gift of art can make it’s way under your tree this year.

Inconsistency

If there were one word to describe the 2011-2012 Husker football team it would be inconsistent. The term especially comes to life after Nebraska’s disappointing performance in a 17-45 loss to the Michigan Wolverines.

A Victory Amidst Controversy

Whether the Jerry Sandusky scandal surrounding Penn State served as a distraction or a motivation for the Nittany Lions is irrelevant as Nebraska picked up a key win in enemy territory by the score of 17-14.
