Bee Eye Enn Gee Oh!

The first time I played bingo was about a year and a half ago. I took my boyfriend on a surprise date night. We went out to dinner and then headed to the VFW for Friday night bingo. It had to be a surprise because he never would have agreed to go had he known the plan. We had a blast. The regulars were so helpful and everyone was very welcoming.

The Zen of Bicycling

If it wasn’t for the mid-nineteenth century I may not be the person I am today. Why do I say that, you ask? Well, that is when the bicycle was said to have been invented, though there is some controversy surrounding the actual date–but that’s a whole other story. The bicycle has been a source of stories throughout my life and so the journey begins.

Into the Mouth of (March) Madness

I began the day with high motivation and grand intentions of taking down the Christmas lights that are perched atop my gutters and silently threatening to stay there through the Ides of March. In order to embark on such a dreaded task, however, I deemed it necessary to first plop down on my couch for a moment of pre-chore motivational contemplation (read: “TV-watching”). In that precise moment, I became a victim of March’s silent productivity killer: madness—MARCH MADNESS.
